Leonardo DiCaprio Hosted a Model-Filled Gala, and the Dress Code Was Wear Next to Nothing
We know how much Leonardo DiCaprio loves summer (his aggressive water gun fight continues to be the best summer meme of all time), models (he has dated many) and his environmental causes (he’s really good at raising a lot of money). Well, yesterday he put them all together for the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation event in Saint-Tropez, France. And we’re guessing the invites must have been explicit, because everyone showed up wearing all-sheer everything.
Leading the pack, supermodel Jessica Stam and actress Michelle Rodriguez took the “naked dress” trend to new levels. Stam opted to go sans bra (leaving a sliver of silver embroidery to provide coverage) and wore only a pair of tiny black briefs under her completely sheer design. Rodriguez’s see-through gown showed off a cutout bandeau top and high-waisted bloomers.
Others who got the sheer-only dress memo (and apparently called one another to color-coordinate) were Kate Hudson and Naomi Campbell in black, sheer, low-neckline lace gowns, and Irina Shayk and Natasha Poly in blush-tone gowns featuring strategically placed sheer panels.
Meanwhile, DiCaprio’s new girlfriend, model Kelly Rohrbach, was the most conservative of the night, opting to only show peeks of skin in her lavender long-sleeve, floor-length gown. (She didn’t even reveal very much from the back!) If you’re not too familiar with his new lady yet, we did some Insta-stalking for you.
