Russian supermodel Irina Shayk has created yet another stir during the London Fashion Week, not for another sexy outfit but simply wearing a prom gown with a full skirt.
The 29-year-old supermodel really looks gorgeous whatever she is donning when she took the catwalk on September 21 wearing a prom gown for designer Giles Deacon at his Giles SS16 show, details the Daily Mail.
Although she was joined in the runway by many other supermodels including Eva Herzigova and Erin O’Connor, Irina Shayk still stood out and whipped up quite a storm as she looked stunning wearing a plunging prom gown with a full skirt and nipped-in waist in a glittering brocade material.
She completed her ensemble with a heavy black choker necklace and a pair of quirky pink heels that is highlighted by black ball detailing and chunkyankle strap.
Other big names in the catwalk
There were a lot of other big names in the catwalk during the event outside of Irina and they include Poppy Delevingne, Georgia May Jagger, and Lily Donaldson, as well as newcomer Bella Hadid, as Giles Deacon showcased his trademark dark and sexy designs on the runway. Among those who watched the show were Millie Mackintosh and Abbey Clancy.
Irina was fresh from the Versace party held on Sunday just hours after arriving from the US. Last week, she also took part in the New York Fashion Week where she also walked for major designers including Marc Jacobs and Diane von Furstenberg.
Irina said she had an embarrassing moment during her previous visit to London upon the invitation of Prince Charles at the Buckingham Palace. In a recent interview, she said that she tripped and fell down the stairs while walking up the Buckingham Palace. She was just happy that no one saw it.
Loudest fashion statement
After making her presence felt at the New York Fashion Week on September 17 with fellow models Emily Ratajkowski, Joan Smalls, Adriana Lima, Bella Hadid, and Kendall Jenner, Irina Shayk flew to London on September 20 in time for the London Fashion Week on September 21.
Sports Illustrated, however, noted that it was on Instagram where Irina made her loudest fashion statement.
On September 20, the Russian supermodel posted a photo of herself on Instagram in nothing but underwear and boots. She captioned it by saying that she always wear high heels because she simply feels naked without them, and putting it as sort of a quote from Donatella Versace.
Further topping her raunchy photo statement on the social media, Irina subsequently posted a nude photo of herself and fellow models Natasha Poly, Saskia de Brauw, and Anna Ewers from a D Section Magazine photo shoot that shook things up at the Instagram censorship bureau.
There were reports early this month that Russian supermodel Irina Shayk’s current relationship with American actor Bradley Cooper is not exclusive as the 40-year-old “American Sniper” actor was spotted partying with playboy pal Leonardo DiCaprio at the NYFW bash with a bevy of extremely hot and gorgeous supermodels.
While there has been no official statement from either Irina or Bradley to either confirm or debunk those new speculations, it seems that the relationship is anchored on solid ground.
Apparently, the previous rumors that the relationship of the two are getting to the level of serious has a good leg to stand on following the recent sighting of Irina Shayk with Bradley’s mother Gloria Campano together for some bonding moments.
The ladies shared some quality time together on September 14 in New York City while taking Bradley’s dog out for a walk.
The 29-year-old supermodel was wearing a black jersey dress and cardigan while holding a large red purse. Gloria, on the other hand, took the reins on Charlotte, the name of Bradley’s dog.
